Because we believe that children and young people are a vitally important part of the church family we have a range of activities specifically for them.
Below you find:
- A brief description of each organisation
- The normal meeting times
- A person to contact with any queries you may have about the particular organisation
- Term time dates for your diary for this current year
Parent and Toddler group
A group of women from the church run this activity as a service to families in our community with pre–school children. The Parent and Toddler group is a safe and welcoming environment for children to play while adults have an opportunity to get to know other mothers, fathers, child–minders, grannies, etc.
We provide lots of good quality toys, as well as some directed activities for the 2–3 year–olds. Each morning, while the children have juice, tea/coffee is provided for the adults. Feel free to call in and join us.
Thursdays, 10–11.30am, in the church hall.

The crèche does just as it says on the packet! It looks after the pre–nursery school children on Sundays during the morning church service. Because crèche volunteers help regularly on a rota basis, they get to know the children under their care well.
Parents are welcome to sit in the crèche with their children for a time until they feel confident about leaving them to go into church. Strict rules are enforced regarding children’s safety and well–being. Ask to see these if you wish.
Sundays, 10.45am–12.10pm, in the church hall.

Sunday Club & Bible Class
Both organisations meet on Sundays during the morning church service. Sunday Club caters for children from age 3 up to Year 7. Bible Class caters for young people from Year 8–Year 10. Our aim, in both organizations, is to see our children and young people learn a lot about Jesus and be inspired to follow him. We encourage this by teaching Bible stories, singing, drama, craft, quizzes, games, etc. Our leaders frequently meet for training and lesson preparation, and each one is committed to the aims of the organization.
Sundays, 11.00am, in church

This growing group caters for young people from 11–18 years. They meet for games, sports and other activities, either in the church halls, or at pre–arranged outside venues. There usually is a talk relating to some aspect of the gospel. The young people have fun together and have opportunities to hear of, speak about and get involved in learning what it means to support each other and to be a follower of Jesus Christ.
Fridays, 7.30pm, in the church hall (unless alternative arrangements, see the Church Calendar)
